What is the new Keurig K-Brew+Chill?
What is the new Keurig K-Brew+Chill?
The new K-Brew+Chill™ Coffee Maker is a new hybrid brewer
that makes both deliciously hot coffee and refreshingly chilled iced
coffee, so you never have to compromise on the coffee you drink at home.
How do I setup the K-Brew+Chill?
How do I setup the K-Brew+Chill?
Plug and Place
Place your brewer on your counter and plug it in.
Fill the Chill Tank
The Chill Tank on the back of the brewer is the cooling engine of the K-Brew+Chill™. Any K-Cup® pod is brewed hot and then cooled using QuickChill Technology™,
resulting in a freshly brewed beverage as cold as one from a coffee
shop. Before you get started, make sure to fill the Chill Tank.
The Chill Tank can take up to 6 hours to charge on initial setup. The
colder the water put into the Chill Tank, the quicker the unit can reach
its coldest temperature.
Fill the Water Reservoir
Fill up the Water Reservoir on the front of the brewer as this is where the water for your beverages comes from.
Hot and Cold Rinse
Conduct a Hot and Cold rinse to finish your brewer setup.
Brew Your First Cup
You are now ready to brew on your K-Brew+Chill™!
Do I need to add water to the Chill Tank and the Water Reservoir?
Do I need to add water to the Chill Tank and the Water Reservoir?
Yes – water will need to be added to the Chill Tank (rear) as well as the Water Reservoir (front) upon initial setup.
You will need to fill up the Water Reservoir on the front of the
brewer as you brew as this is where the water for your beverages comes
from.
The Chill Tank on the rear of the brewer needs to be filled only
during initial setup. This water does not need to be tended to on a
regular basis but will need to be topped off yearly. You’ll be notified
of the need to fill the Chill Tank by the LED indicator on the UI.
How do I know when my K-Brew+Chill is ready to brew a chilled beverage?
How do I know when my K-Brew+Chill is ready to brew a chilled beverage?
The K-Brew+Chill™ communicates the chilling status using the
two blue LEDs. The coldest possible beverage will be delivered when
both Chilling Bars are illuminated solid. Blinking bars indicate that
brewer is actively cooling the Chill Tank.
What is the Cold Auto Rinse Cycle?
What is the Cold Auto Rinse Cycle?
The experience after the brew is finished is the brew is the K-Brew+Chill™
Cold Auto Rinse cycle. This Cold Auto Rinse only happens after a Cold
beverage and is intended to keep your QuickChill Technology™ running at top performance.
